Part 1. Unlock Password-Protected PDF Files Easily

Forgot the open password of your PDF file? No worries. TunesKit File Password Recovery is here to help you recover the user password and remove the editing restrictions with ease. The following are the simple steps for unlocking your PDF file.

Step 1. Select a File Type to Unlock

Download and install the TunesKit File Password Recovery on your Windows or macOS computer. Then launch the program and choose the "PDF" option on the main interface.

Step 2. Choose a Method to Unlock

Here, there are two options for you to recover your forgotten PDF password or remove PDF restrictions.

Any known information is quite helpful for TunesKit to get the correct password in a short time. This method is useful if you still remember anything about the password.

• If you choose Brute Force Attack, TunesKit will try its best to help you find the password. Thus, it may take a long time. Please try this method if the Dictionary Attack failed and you don't know anything about the password.

4. Then, click the "Start Recover" button and follow the onscreen instructions. TunesKit will start to recover the password for your PDF file. Wait a while until the process is done.

5. You can finally click the "Copy" button to get the right password.

👉 2.2 Remove PDF Restriction

1. If you're locked from editing the PDF file, you can choose the "Remove PDF Restriction" option.

2. Import the target PDF file to remove restrictions.
