Can anyone help with this? Canceling my Facebook account has created a lot of problems with Spotify, but I figured it out. But I have a quite a few long playlists that I do not want to have to recreate on my new Spotify account. 

Is there a way to back them up and import to my new account?

If your Spotify is connected with Facebook and you don't want your friend to know your listening activity, the best way it to create another account. But how to get the playlist from your old account to the new one?

1. Drag and Drop Playlists from Spotify

This is the easiest way you can copy Spotify playlist to another account:

1. Drag and drop playlists from the old Spotify account to the desktop of your computer. A web link of the playlist then will be generated on your desktop.

2. Log out of your old account and log in with new Spotify account.

3. Drag and drop the links to the Spotify client, the playlist should show up on the page. And you can click the Heart icon to save it to your library.

2. View Old Account Profile

Before you try this way, make sure that every playlist on your old account is public.

1. Log in with new Spotify account, and search for the user profile of your old account.

2. Click public playlists, then right-click on the playlists and click Save to Your Library. Then the playlists on your old account can be all saved on the new one.

3. Copy from Web Player

In this example, you can log into both your accounts on one computer. Before you get started, make sure that you log in to your old account on Spotify web page and new account on the desktop app.

1. On Spotify web page, right-click the playlist name > Share > Copy Playlist Link.

2. On the Spotify desktop app, paste the link on the search bar.

3. Click the Heart icon to save the playlist to your library.

4. Use SpotMyBackup

You can use this online tool to backup playlists on your old account and import them to the new one:

1. Open your browser and type in spotmybackup.com.

2. Click Login with Spotify with your old account.

3. Click Agree, then the tool will start backing up your playlists.

4. After it finishes, click Export. Then you can download the JSON file to your computer.

5. Log out of the old account and log in with the new one on SpotMyBackup.

6. Click IMPORT, and add the JSON file. Then all the playlists will be restored on your new account.
