Part 3. Switch to A New Spotify Account without Facebook

If you cannot find the option to disconnect Spotify from Facebook with the above methods, then you need to sign out Spotify and create a brand new account. For Premium users, you should cancel the subscription firstly. If you have the student discount, you won’t be able to apply it to your new account until 12 months have elapsed since you signed up for it.

While creating a new Spotify account, you are highly suggested to sign it up with an email address instead of logging in with Facebook. And as it’s not allowed to have two Spotify accounts with the same email address, you should switch to a different email address this time.

Regarding the songs and playlists you previously saved from Spotify, they will still be on your old account. Once you created the new account, you can download them again with the new account. Or you can use some 3rd-party Spotify music tool to download Spotify songs offline to your new account.
