Installation & Register
1. Download the installation package of Audio Converter for Mac from TunesKit product page.
2. Double click the installation file TunesKit Audio Converter.dmg to start installing it on your Mac.
3. Follow the instructions to finish installation.
Step1. Run TunesKit DRM Audio Converter for Mac. Then go to menu bar and click Register. Then a registration window will pop up.
Step2. Fill the input blanks with Registration Name and Code you received from TunesKit to register it to a full version. You can use Command + C to copy and Command + V to paste in the window.
After launching TunesKit Audio Converter for Mac, you will see the main interface like this:
After clicking the Convert button, you'll see the converting interface as below:
Before conversion, you can adjust the output format and parameters by clicking the Format panel at the bottom left of the program:
Since it supports both DRM-ed and non-DRM audio files, you'll see two Add buttons at the top center of the conversion window. The first button is used to add the non-iTunes audios, including DRM-free audio, and Audible AA, AAX audiobooks. The second button is used for adding iTunes audio files, such as Apple Music and iTunes M4P songs.
Now simply click the Add Files button to import the audio files you want to convert. You can also directly drag the audio files into TunesKit Mac DRM Audio Converter.
Note: If the audio files you are trying to convert are from iTunes or Apple Music Stores, then you should install iTunes on your computer and authorize your iTunes account in advance. If the converting files are non-iTunes audio, then iTunes won't be required.
Click the "Format" option and you'll be able to choose the output format as you want. Currently it supports MP3, AAC, M4A, M4B, WAV, FLAC. If you are converting Audible AA, AAX books, you can select the "keep lossless quality" option in the pop up window.
Customize Output Settings
Click the "Edit" icon next to the audio file, you can split the large audio file into small segments by chapters, or time length or averagely. You can also set the ID tags in this window.
Once all the settings are adjusted well, you can click Convert button to begin converting the DRM or non-DRM audio files to unprotected formats as you like.
