Can anyone tell me if you can burn songs you get from apple music on to disk? If so, what do I need to do to accomplish this?
I'm a subscriber to Apple Music service. I downloaded some music tracks to my iTunes folder and I'm just out of curiosity is it possible to burn the music stream from Apple Music then save to offline on to a CD or flash drive? I'm attempting to put those offline songs in a playlist, but when I click "Burn to CD", a window pops up stating that this can't be done as the music is protected. Anyone knows some workarounds?
If you are using Apple Music and looking for a way to burn your offline Apple Music streams to CD disk, you can read on this article in which we'll show you the complete guide on how to burn Apple Music songs to CDs in a few clicks only.
Why We are Prevented from burning Apple Music to Disk
Unlike the music tracks we purchased from iTunes that allow us to burn them to CD, the M4P songs we streamed from Apple Music don't provide this option any more. Although Apple Music allows subscribers freely download and save the music and albums offline onto devices linked to Apple Music account, it restricts the use of the music files on other devices by adding a DRM layer to streaming music collection on Apple Music. In result, Apple Music users are not allowed to burn any Apple Music audio to disc nor copying the offline M4P music tracks to other platforms. What's worse, when the subscription ends, the DRM-locked M4P songs will be disabled and inoperable. Generally speaking, Apple Music users don't own the full control over the music files they legally subscribed.
